i must say that most of the time i am turned off by flower girl dresses. it seems people use a wedding as an excuse to dress up little girls in a poof of tulle and a mess of pink, and unfortunately it becomes more of an annoyance or distraction than a display of an adorable sweetheart :) so when i came across ulrika bogo's understated flower girl dresses i was refreshed. and not to mention, impressed. simplicity can be quite stunning and this is a wonderful example!

i'm not one for fake flowers, but these paper flowers from martha are not only pretty but perfect diy projects for a spring wedding. i especially like these tissue paper swizzle sticks. it's the details that catch the eye of your wedding guests and these are perfect!
